Along with its in-home therapy services, Equipoise Occupational Therapy offers telehealth options to serve its clients. Connected through real-time audio and technology, we can serve clients as an alternative to traditional in-person therapy services. Tamasin is able to offer such services as consultations, treatments sessions, caregiver education, and overall care management depending on each client’s individual circumstances.

Whether telehealth appeals to you for health reasons (somebody in the home is symptomatic, or simply preference) or because of the overall client experience reach out to determine if telehealth occupational therapy would benefit you or your loved one.

Medicare is currently covering therapy services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

How to Prepare for Your First Telehealth Session

  1. You will receive an email to register for telehealth in our patient portal provided by our electronic medical record system called Hellonote. Follow the instructions in the email to sign up for the patient portal.

  2. Please review Equipoise OT’s new patient forms. This includes the client intake form, privacy policy, and consent to treatment.

  3. Make sure you have a desktop or laptop computer, or a tablet or smartphone with a good quality camera and microphone.

  4. Check your internet speed; a speed of at least 384 kps. wi-fi is preferred.

  5. Think about where you would like to have your session. A private space with limited background noise and good lighting is ideal.

  6. Double check your camera for clarity.

  7. Please have your government issued photo ID handy for your session; you will have to verify your name, contact information and location and show this identification.

  8. Tamasin will do everything she can to make your visit as similar as possible to the service she provides in-person.
